    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the two Coordinator, Match Officials Development to support the administration of all programming
  • Update and maintain the Ontario Soccer website
  • Respond to communications from the membership in a timely and professional fashion
  • Tasks as assigned from time to time by the Director, Development
  • Assist in inventory and management of equipment
  • Flexible schedule to work at the Ontario Soccer Centre, from home as well as on weekends
  • Additional duties as required within the Development Department

    • Qualifications:

  • Any Canadian Match Official accreditation, or foreign equivalent, an asset but not required

    • Experience:

  • An understanding of Ontario Soccer programming and broader landscape
  • Working knowledge of Match Officials Development
  • Currently completing post-secondary education in sports administration.

    • Skills and Competencies:

  • Great initiative and relationship building skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Highly detail oriented with analytical strengths and effective time management skills
  • A demonstrated proficiency in the use of common technology and computer platforms (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Self-starter with the ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Must be receiving a course credit for completing the internship
