- Providing ongoing support to the various personal insurance business units including:
- Develop, maintain, and deliver Personal Lines technical training content.
- Collaborate with personal insurance management and front-line employees to identify opportunities to improve all aspects of personal insurance such as workflows, implement new business processes and best practices.
- Manage our internal government auto audit and general PL quality assurance processes, documentation, and procedures.
- Conduct in-person government auto insurance, broker standards and general procedural audits, identify any issues, prepare, and distribute audit finding reports, and recommend any corrective action required.
- Perform audits as required (e.g. annual habitational broker standards) and communicate results & recommendations.
- Travel to all offices to conduct training and in-person audits.
- Collaborate with PL management and other subject matter experts to create, maintain, and store HUB's PL information including guidelines, carrier changes, procedures, best practices, sales aids, and communications.
- Communicate business changes to front-line employees including sales, training, efficiencies, systems, etc, working with HUB Coastal Ops team.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years experience in a variety of Personal Lines roles including a deep understanding of ICBC policies, sales, and administrative procedures.
- Level 2 General Insurance License
- Experience working with a variety of Carrier Portals (ICBC, Auto & Residential) and EPIC
- Good communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Experience and passion in training & compliance.
- Strong technical insurance knowledge of coverages.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Works well in a fast paced environment.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in MS Office, with focus on Excel and Word.
- Must have access to personal vehicle for business use.
- CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM or other industry designations considered an asset.

- You work with a high degree of INTEGRITY and ACCOUNTABILITY The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 - $75,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level. As a Personal Lines Assist Specialist, Compliance and Training in Personal Lines Operations you will provide exceptional training, compliance and operational support for the Personal Lines team. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong attention to detail to join our Burnaby Still Creek location in a Regular Full-Time position.
