    About this job:

    We are hiring an Associate Actuary for theCorporate Actuarial Reporting team in our Toronto office. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Actuarial, the role involves Solvency II and Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) reporting.

    The focus will be on consolidating and refining quarterly Solvency II and BMA reporting for the North America Life business unit, including AXIS modeling, analysis, process review, control enhancements, and stakeholder communication.

    About the role:

    Core responsibilities include:

    • Financial Reporting
      • Carry out Solvency II and BMA reporting for North America Life business unit.
      • Support internal performance metrics calculation.
      • Collaborate with management and auditors.
    • Process and Control Review
      • Design, implement, and review control processes.
      • Ensure reporting consistency across jurisdictions.

    Qualifications:

    About you:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Minimum 2 years of AXIS modeling experience
    • Minimum 2 years in individual life products and life reinsurance industry
    • Effective problem-solving and time management skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
    • R and SQL database skills are a plus
