    About the role

    We are currently seeking a Specialist –Accounting Hub within the Corporate Finance team who will play a critical role in supporting our growth. If you are looking for a stimulating career, in a dynamic and constantly changing work environment, this position is for you.

    WORKPLACE: Flexible (Montreal, Toronto, St-Hyacinthe)

    What you'll do here:

    The incumbent will actively participate in the process of recording and providing quality, reliable and timely financial information. In addition, the incumbent will:

  • Assist in the production of financial and operational data by working closely with various departments and regions.
  • Assist in the validation financial data, as well as various reconciliations and controls.
  • Support our business units in the management of their operational expenses.
  • Participate in the financial systems and accounting processes improvement initiatives.
  • Take a critical look at the controls in place and the various accounting treatments related to our operations.
  • Make recommendations and suggestions to management based on your expertise.
  • Simplify, standardize, secure and increase controls of different work files.
  • Help facilitate the audit processes of general accruals and reconciliations and liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Contribute to maintaining a robust internal control environment. Maintain documentation and ensure the accuracy of audit evidence for test purposes.

    • What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, IFRS accounting standards and finance.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA) is an asset.
  • Fast learning, agility and adaptability to change.
  • Discipline, autonomy and professionalism.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • Ability to interact with various people at all levels of the organization, including management and some external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion and Essbase is an asset.
