The Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) is a large, diverse, and comprehensive unit, comprised of six Schools (Nursing, Kinesiology, Health Studies, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Communication Sciences and Disorders), a large Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and four Research Centres.

The Faculty has more than 3,200 undergraduate students and more than 800 graduate students (200 PhD students).


The Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing educates nurses who are reflective practitioners and provide recognized leadership in nursing theory, research, practice, inter-professional health teaching and learning, and policy advancements.


Responsibilities:


The Partnership and Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator will support the KME Working Group by playing a key role in engaging partnership members, sharing information, coordinating activities, and other administrative forms of support for the work of the committees.

Meetings will be held according to the following schedule:

the Leadership Committee will meet monthly; the Partnership Committee will meet once a year; the Research teams will meet at least weekly throughout the term of their projects; the KME Working Group will meet monthly; once a year the entire team will come together for a full day of in-person/virtual presentations and discussions.


This individual has significant knowledge of and experience with engagement within the chronic pain space and have lived experience of chronic pain.

This person will be responsible for reaching out and establishing contact with community groups, running the dialogues, and translating and mobilizing the knowledge gained.

The Partnership and Knowledge Mobilization Coordinator will support the KME Working Group by:

  • playing a key role in engaging Partnership members;
- developing mechanisms for sharing information both within and external to the Partnership;
- identifying and coordinating all KM activities, such as, but not limited to, webinars, publications, workshops, social media postings;
- developing methods to track effectiveness of KM activities

  • Maintaining social media accounts (website, Twitter)
