The Specialist is accountable to assist with the completion of the annual audit plan which may include consulting, compliance, or operational engagements.
This position is responsible to act as a central point of contact in the administration and completion of internal audit engagements while providing exceptional customer service in strengthening the partnership between business clients/groups and Internal Audit.
Plan, research, develop, evaluate and implement processes, policies and procedures utilized for the development of strategies and business initiatives that address the organization's requirementsAct as a subject matter expert in a specialized function to develop, implement, coach and assist management staff in the administration and interpretation of corporate policies; Lead and/or participate in cross-functional projects to provide functional expertise for corporate and departmental strategic planning initiatives
Provide leadership and direction to project teams and/or assigned staff as required
5 years of related experience in audit
~ Excellent facilitation, project management and decision making skills
~ Candidates under consideration may be required to participate in an assessment process consisting of any/all of the following: interview, abilities test, case study and/or presentation.
