    Description

    Role Overview:
    The Senior Procurement Consultant plays a crucial role in supporting category experts and internal clients with their sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and purchasing needs. They are responsible for working collaboratively with various business functions to deliver solutions that meet business priorities across multiple spend categories.

    • Collaborate with different business functions to meet corporate objectives.
    • Administer RFx's and create sourcing strategies.
    • Propose solutions to meet pricing and profitability goals.
    • Execute contracts and negotiate terms and conditions with vendors.
    • Work with internal clients to ensure contract terms are understood.
    • Use project management skills to deliver on concurrent initiatives.
    • Monitor vendor performance and maintain updated records.
    • Liaise with suppliers and key stakeholders during sourcing events.
    • Manage stakeholder communication and vendor briefings.
    • Utilize procurement tools to fulfill responsibilities.
    • Develop and maintain business knowledge in assigned areas.

    Requirements:

    • University degree or relevant certifications in related areas.
    • 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Experience in specific spend categories is an advantage.
    • Strong project management and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team.
    • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to attain measurable results.
