    Description

    Job Title: Procurement Consultant

    If you are a customer-focused, analytical thinker experienced in supporting category experts and internal clients with their sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and purchasing needs, this might be the perfect role for you. At our company, as a Procurement Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our Non-Merchandise Procurement team, dedicated to supporting procurements and enhancing productivity.

    Here's what you will do:

    • Award, monitor, and administer purchase orders
    • Manage central inboxes and provide purchasing input
    • Ensure procurement requests comply with established processes
    • Compile reports on purchasing history to identify cost-saving opportunities
    • Support RFQ, RFP, and RFI initiatives and vendor research
    • Work with Procurement Manager to enhance efficiency and inventory valuation
    • Capture and maintain procurement-related data
    • Lead internal stakeholders in change management processes
    • Collaborate with suppliers and key stakeholders
    • Use procurement tools effectively
    • Develop and maintain specialized knowledge in assigned areas

    Here's what you bring:

    • University degree in business or related area, College/Technical Institute diploma, or relevant certifications
    • Two years of purchasing experience in an indirect spend environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Familiarity with the RFP process
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to act ethically and transparently
    • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • Strong negotiating skills
