    Description

    Are you experienced in maintaining commercial properties in tip-top shape? We are on the lookout for a Building Operator to become a valuable member of our client's crew and take a critical role in maintaining their property standards in Mississauga.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure building systems meet company standards and keep detailed records.
    • Handle tenant requests, routine maintenance, and inspections.
    • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as replacing filters and lamps, conducting housekeeping, and fixing plumbing issues.
    • Guarantee the safe and efficient operation of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety, in compliance with regulations.
    • Supervise on-site service contractors and maintain service quality.
    • Organize service provision to tenants and address seasonal needs like snow removal.
    • Manage rent cheque and material deliveries.
    • Remain on-call and work overtime when necessary.
    • Support other Operators in various locations within the property portfolio.
    • Ensure adherence to governmental and municipal regulations.
    • Carry out assigned tasks independently and according to agreed schedules.
    • Any other duties as delegated.

    Requirements:

    • 2 to 5 years of experience in Commercial Property Management.
    • High school diploma.
    • BES Certification Level 1 & 2 (or actively pursuing Level 2).
    • Bondable and clear criminal record.
    • Valid Driver's License.
    • Proficient in Angus Anywhere and MS Office.
    • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
    • Basic knowledge of various technical areas like electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
    • Adept at working with different tools and equipment.
    • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
    • Positive, energetic, and friendly demeanor.
    • Capable of working independently and being resourceful.
