    Quality Manager (Aerospace)

    Aversan Inc. ) is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries.

    We are currently seeking a qualified Quality Manager (Aerospace) to join our team. The Quality Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet regulatory, customer, internal, and AS 9100 requirements. This role involves scheduling and performing internal and external audits for QMS compliance, managing supplier assessments, and providing Quality Management reports to other management leads.

    Type: Full Time

    Responsibilities :

    • Develop and sustain systems compliant with AS9100.
    • Champion quality management process definition, implementation, and improvement activities.
    • Lead internal and surveillance audits for AS9100 compliance of engineering design, development, and manufacturing.
    • Identify and/or recommend priorities for continuous improvement matters in manners consistent with the overall business strategy.
    • Planning and management of supplier assessment/selection programs.
    • Provide reporting and assessments to the Management team regarding Quality Management.

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
    • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a quality management role in a design, development, and manufacturing environment in the aerospace industry.
    • Proven experience in non-conformance handling, root cause and failure analysis.
    • Robust knowledge of certification planning and execution within the aerospace regulation domain.
    • Direct experience with developing QMS processes and familiarity with planning, conducting, and leading QMS audits compliant with AS9100.
    • Proven experience in developing, enforcing, and monitoring quality policies in product development, supply chain, and manufacturing.
    • Subject matter expert in PPAP, APQP NPI is an asset.
    • Prior experience in N299 organization is an asset.
    • Possesses a sense of urgency with strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
