    We have an exciting opportunity in our HR department The HR Specialist plays an important role in the effective execution of human resources functions within the organization, including but not limited to performance management, recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, employee engagement programs (UG Cares) and HR policy implementation.

    Collaborate with management to deliver HR programs aligned with business objectives.
    Analyze performance data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
    Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure a consistent approach to performance management across the organization.
    Assist with recruitment needs for the organization, to support the hiring process and meet organizational staffing requirements.
    Collaborate on special projects within the human resources department such as rollouts of new initiatives and policies.

    ~ Extended healthcare benefits available after probation

    Hybrid office:
    Assigned office space and regular work-from-home days

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
    ~3+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on performance management, recruitment, and employee relations.
    ~ Solid knowledge of employment, labour, and privacy laws.
    ~ Proven abilities with office productivity software and HRIS systems (e.g. Solid problem-solving skills
    ~ The recruitment process for this role typically lasts 1 to 2 weeks and includes a phone interview, behavioural assessment and an in-person interview.
