    TheLearning and Development Specialist is a newly created critical role thatsupports the organization in achieving our strategic goals through thedevelopment and administration of impactful employee centric learning anddevelopment systems,programs and initiatives. The work you willundertake will complement the other Organizational Development and ChangeManagement services we provide to the NAIT community. Ultimately, the work ofthe entire ODS team is rooted in building capacity in the individual, the team,and the organization, so we can continue to deliver on the vision of ourinstitutional strategic plan, The NAIT Effect.

    Reportingto the Director of Organizational Development Services, the Learning andDevelopment Specialist will support the development of an efficient andeffective learning and development eco-system that provides consistentlyexceptional end-user experience. You will engage with members of the NAITcommunity regularly to ensure that their training needs are being met. Mostimportantly, you are a team player that supports others on the ODS team, listeningwith the intent to understand the diverse perspectives of your colleagues,clients, and stakeholders.

    KeyResponsibilities:

  • Administer NAIT's employee training capabilities,while ensuring a smooth transition to our new learning management system,Brightspace.
  • Conduct needs assessments, efficacy evaluations,quality assurance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives related toNAIT's training programs.
  • Developcomprehensive learning programs in a variety of modalities utilizing thirdparty training solutions as well as internally built solutions.
  • Support and collaborate with the OrganizationalDevelopment Services team on organizational learning and development projectsand initiatives with multiple stakeholders, including large scale communityevents.
  • Facilitateengaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhanceemployee skills and competencies.

  • Qualifications:

  • A related undergraduate degree or an equivalentcombination of education and related experience.
  • Experience in developing and administering organizationallearning systems, programs and initiatives would be considered an asset.
  • Applicants witheducation credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentialsevaluated by World Education Services or the International QualificationsAssessment Service (IQAS).

    Remuneration : $79, $105,715.48 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
