    Description

    Pizza Hut Canada is looking for a business-oriented, bold thinker with a passion for delivering results to join our legal team as a Law Clerk or Paralegal.

    Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer and working in close collaboration across various functions in the organization, the role is responsible for contract administration and document management support; contract revisions; general intake of legal matters; maintenance and management of legal and contract databases; maintenance of corporate and franchise records; and provision of legal support to internal stakeholders, including research and litigation management, and review of marketing materials, where necessary.

    Prepare and work with all forms of legal documents including franchise disclosure documents, agreements, statements of work, letters, corporate forms, policies, memos, presentations, organizational charts and practice specific documents
    Maintain franchisee agreements tracking system and contract database
    Coordinate with external counsel to maintain annual corporate filings
    Manage legal expenses and budget

    Law clerk diploma, Paralegal license or equivalent
    Minimum 3-4 years of law firm or in-house legal department experience (franchise law experience a must)
    Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite including Outlook and Word
    Proactive, creative, flexible and able to problem-solve and improve efficiencies
