    Reports to: Construction Manager

    Gerry Enns Contracting (GEC) is part of the Emil Anderson Group, a family-owned company with an 85-year history in British Columbia. We work with our development partner Emil Anderson Properties to build quality commercial projects. We are seeking an experienced Superintendent with a diverse skillset to support our various projects throughout the Okanagan.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Keep a daily log of construction activities
  • Hold weekly site meetings to track project schedules
  • Conduct Toolbox Talks and orientations
  • Develop and plan for project requirements (manpower, equipment, and materials)
  • Hold required site meetings
  • Daily walkthroughs of projects – quality assurance and site photo uploads
  • Daily updating of project schedules
  • Supervise field staff and trade partners
  • Full understanding of construction documents and blueprints
  • Have an excellent understanding of building code, construction practices and methods
  • All duties as assigned by the Construction Manager
  • Teamwork; open to being on the tools

    • Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of Proven experience as a Residential and Commercial Superintendent
  • Adequate computer skills to communicate with all project stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience with Worksafe BC safety standards
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Current First Aid certification an asset
  • Familiarity with Procore and SiteDocs an asset
  • Red Seal trade qualification is an asset

    • Salary: $90,000-$125,000 Annually

    The salary range for this position will be discussed during the interview stage, taking into consideration candidate qualifications and experience.
