The intent of this process is to fill one (1) indeterminate position.

Information you must provide In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in landscape architecture, urban planning, rural planning, community planning or some other specialty relevant to town planner positions.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in developing, implementing and managing complex* urban planning projects.
Significant experience** analyzing strategic issues and providing strategic advice (both oral and written briefing) to Senior Managers (managers, directors, and above) in the area of land-use planning or real property portfolio planning.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams or working groups in the area of land-use or urban planning.
Experience creating and maintaining networks with different partners such as federal departments, provinces, municipalities, other interest groups, etc.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION :
Eligible to obtain registration status as a full member in a Canadian professional urban planning institute.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Willingness and ability to travel
Ability and willingness to work overtime occasionally
Willing and able to visit buildings, sites, construction sites, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
Possession of a valid driver's license
Reliability Security Level
