    Description
    We're one of the earliest enablers of embedded finance, a market opportunity sized up in the trillions.

    Our card-issuing platform provides unprecedented flexibility and control for companies to issue cards, authorize transactions, and manage payment operations in real-time.

    Marqeta is powering the most well-known brands in the new economy (Block, Cash App, Affirm, Instacart, Doordash, Uber, Walmart, etc.).

    As Marqeta's Financial Systems Administrator , you will perform system administration, data management, compliance and integration management duties for Sage Intacct and other financial SaaS applications.

    Your chief aim is to configure these systems, enable users and maintain system performance.

    You are expected to work collaboratively with finance and accounting teams to identify, design and implement solutions that support core accounting, expense management, and financial management reporting processes.

    You will understand and implement system enhancements to meet company policies and compliance requirements. You will also collaborate with other departments and data teams to build new and maintain existing integrations.
    Understand the company, business and technical requirements and goals
    Design, build, test and deploy enhancements in an Agile framework
    Maintain high data integrity using data management principles
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, IT dept and other engineering teams
    Contribute to technical strategy, approach and design documentation
    Execute release management processes to achieve high quality deployments
    3-5 years of Sage Intacct implementation and system admin experience
    ~ Sage Intacct Implementation Certification
    ~ Experience with finance and accounting processes
    ~ Experience with audit controls and compliance requirements
    ~ Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
    ~ Experience with with complex multi-phase projects
    ~ Experience working building and maintaining integrations
    ~ Strong knowledge of data modeling and data management principles
    ~ Ability to systematically troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
