    Description

    **The ideal candidate for this role will be based out of Vancouver.**

    And we're not done yet. We are hiring a Packaging Consultant (Account Executive) who will be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability through prospecting, business retention, and account development.

    Key Accountabilities:

  • Prospecting: Identify, secure, and develop new customers to build and grow a book of business via the consultative selling of solutions. Develop accurate proposals and close deals by asking customers for the business
  • Business Retention: Maintain existing business through the utilization of Berlin's sales tools and resources
  • Account Development (Share of Wallet): Develop existing customer base; maximize sales and profitability through new and existing product offerings
  • Project Management: Collaborate effectively with Berlin Packaging's value-added sales resources and service divisions including Sourcing, Studio 111, and Custom Tooling to complete complex sales transactions
  • Develop effective working relationships, become a sustaining resource for the customer, and ensure contractual terms and obligations are established and met
  • Establish effective supplier relationships and product knowledge
  • Utilize Salesforce, marketing tools, and other systems and tools effectively to win business
  • Responsible for Customer Thrill
  • Support branch metrics
  • Fulfill employee portion of the "Berlin Values"
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline strongly preferred or equivalent experience required
  • 3+ years of successful consultative B2B (business-to-business) sales and prospecting experience involving complex project management and relationship-based sales transactions that resulted in revenue growth
  • Highly focused on customer needs with a merchant mentality and strong attention to detail
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a thirst for continuous knowledge and growth
  • Understands and can articulate the Berlin Packaging's value proposition, products, services, customers, and suppliers
  • Is able to effectively partner with internal teams and use sales tools to develop new accounts and retain existing business in order to achieve financial goals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal, active listening, and confident presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and independent with an exceptional level of creativity, passion, and competitiveness to overcome challenges and achieve results
  • Operates with a high sense of urgency; demonstrates strong time management skills; has the ability to prioritize and follow up
  • MS Office and Salesforce CRM experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel
  • Working Environment:

    Office environment, with significant time spent in vehicle traveling to customer locations

    Principales responsabilités:

  • Prospection : Identifier, sécuriser et développer de nouvelles opportunités
  • Rétention des clients : Maintenir les ventes existantes, y compris par l'utilisation des outils et des ressources de vente de CBC. Établir des relations de travail efficaces, devenir une ressource fiable pour le client et vous assurer que les conditions et obligations contractuelles sont établies et respectées.
  • Développement de compte (part de portefeuille) : développer la clientèle existante ; maximiser les ventes et la rentabilité grâce à des offres de produits, nouveaux ou existants.
  • Relations avec les fournisseurs/Connaissance des produits : Établir des relations efficaces avec les fournisseurs et une très bonne connaissance des produits
  • Ressources à valeur ajoutée : Utiliser et maintenir une connaissance approfondie des ressources de vente et des différentes divisions de service de CBC
  • Contribuer aux indicateurs de performance
  • Respecter le rôle des employés dans les « valeurs d'entreprise de Berlin/CBC »
  • Connaissances, Compétences, Aptitudes :

  • Baccalauréat dans une discipline liée aux affaires ou équivalent
  • 2 ans ou plus d'expérience en vente consultative et en prospection avec un soutien quantifiable.
  • Très axé sur le client ; motivé par une expérience de vente B2B impliquant des transactions complexes basées sur les relations.
  • Sens aigu des affaires et de la finance; comprend et peut articuler la proposition de valeur, les produits, les services, les clients et les fournisseurs de CBC.
  • Collabore efficacement avec les équipes internes et utilise des outils de vente pour accélérer les résultats.
  • Solides compétences interpersonnelles et de communication, tant à l'écrit qu'au verbal, incluant l'écoute active.
