The successful candidatewill support both the Director Of Admissions and the Admissions Associate by ensuring that all administrative processes run smoothly and enquiries and communications are followed up in a timely manner, from initial contact to enrollment.

Responsibilities:
Create a personal connection with the QMS community and develop an awareness and understanding of its unique culture.
Provide a range of administrative support to the Director of Admissions and the Admissions Associate.
Communicate with prospective parents, students, education agents and other key stakeholders throughout the admissions process in a professional, helpful and efficient way so increasing and ensuring an increasing number of strong candidates.
Oversee the Admissions Office file management process in keeping with the schools policies. Review applications and make decisions based on entry-requirements. Coordinate the review of applicant files as required. Undertake applicant support such as phone calls, zoom calls, emails, face-to-face communications, and consultations. Maintain spreadsheets regarding place and scholarship & bursary offers, initial application, offer information, acceptance details, and financial details.Oversee application deposits and admissions invoice queries.
Collaborate with members of the Admissions Office to track data and evaluate all admissions office activities to ensure that student recruitment and retention targets are being achieved.
Prepare and maintain relevant statistics on all aspects of the Admissions Office activities to generate reports and interpret data, as requested.
Manage the re-registration process for re-enrolling students, identifying opportunities for process improvement.Occasionally provide coverage for on-campus tours and coordination of Open Houses, as assigned. There may be a need for occasional attendance at events and recruitment fairs.
Qualifications:
The following are requirements for this position:Minimum of 2 years experience in an office environment.
Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Empathy and rapport-building skills with prospective students and families.
Experience dealing with sensitive information.
Proven experience working independently with limited direction.
Preference will be given to candidates who also have the following skills and qualifications:
Prior experience in Admissions and independent school environments.
Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications such as relevant software applications including MS Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Open Apply and database skills are essential.
Working Conditions:
Generally works in an office environment. Some weekend and evenings work required during recruitment campaigns and events. Attendance at school and community events outside of the regular school day may be required. Salary is inclusive of all hours worked.
