    Project Coordinators / Project Administrators are needed to join an owner's engineer working on civils infrastructure work in the Vancouver region.

    Projects include massive flood repair work to highways and bridge structures valued at $Billions of Canadian Dollars
    Project Details

    Project Coordinators / Project Administrators are needed to join the engineering and construction team who can show organisation, management and coordination skills that are needed to reinstate and improve the resilience of critical highway and bridge infrastructure as quickly as possible.

    Construction work is to be divided into pragmatic sections of work that can be built quickly and efficiently using local companies that know the terrain and the complications involved and that know how to tackle these complex infrastructure projects.

    Project Coordinators are vital to assist with efforts to document and coordinate teams, disciplines and cascade discussions and meeting outcomes across the wider project team.

    Working as one of a number of Project Coordinators / Project Administrators, your job duties for this important job role will include the responsibility to:
    Handle all administration tasks delegated to you by the engineering and project management team
    Liaise with document controllers and undertake document control work as required
    Coordinate and assist with the progression of the most suitable designs for each part of each project
    Help with the administration of the bidding, tendering and contract award process
    Manage the construction project schedule & multiple project schedules concurrently
    Help on an administration level with the supervision of the contractor's performance
    The best Project Coordinators / Project Administrators candidates for this exciting job role will have:
    Some limited experience of a similar role on a construction project
    Be a recent engineering, civil engineering or construction degree graduate with some work experience in this area
    Candidates with a civil engineering degree or equivalent are desired.
    An understanding of structural civils would be advantageous
