    Operations Administrator - Saint John, Canada - Killam Apartment REIT

    Description

    Killam Apartment REIT (TSX:), is a growth-oriented real estate investment trust which owns, manages and develops multi-family residential properties in Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. Killam is focused on maximizing its value and long-term profitability through increasing earnings, expanding the portfolio through acquisitions, and developing high-quality properties in its core markets.

    We are currently searching for an experienced, professional and customer focused Operations Administrator to support our Operations team in Saint John, NB.

    Responsibilities :


    •Answer and redirect maintenance calls;


    •Issue all Purchase Orders for work orders, and help monitor work orders;


    •Create change orders;


    •Create health and safety PPE orders;


    •Track vehicle service;


    •Submit mileage for staff as needed;


    •Assist with tracking of insurance claims;


    •Invoicing;


    •Other administrative reports and duties as required.

    Qualifications :


    •Must have strong administrative training and background, with over 2 years' experience;


    •Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft office tools, high level of Excel competency;


    •Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and/or as part of a team;


    •Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment;


    •Keen focus on internal and external client satisfaction and process improvement;


    •Prior property management experience would be an asset;


    •Knowledge of Yardi would be an asset or similar capital processing system.
