    The Associate Contract Analyst writes, rewrites and proofreads group insurance policies, booklets, amendments and letters of agreement. In addition, this position documents policy changes and maintains standard and non-standard policy wordings.

    How you will create impact:

  • Write/rewrite complex, non-standard and large group policies and booklets
  • Review, analyze and interpret sale specifications, benefits and provisions
  • Add and review new accounts under existing large group policies
  • Write complex non-standard amendments for existing large group clients and stakeholder groups
  • Proof all new policies and booklets, letters of agreement and amendments produced by both internal staff and external third parties
  • Provide technical expertise regarding policy wording and its interpretation to internal departments and sales staff.
  • Train and mentor Contract Administrators

    • To join our team:

  • Completion of post-secondary education with 3 years of previous group insurance experience
  • Industry related education (GBA/CEBS)
  • Excellent understanding of Co-operators group insurance products
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and research skills and the ability to work independently
  • Accuracy with a strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of underwriting concepts, group insurance benefits and contract law a definite asset
