- Write/rewrite complex, non-standard and large group policies and booklets
- Review, analyze and interpret sale specifications, benefits and provisions
- Add and review new accounts under existing large group policies
- Write complex non-standard amendments for existing large group clients and stakeholder groups
- Proof all new policies and booklets, letters of agreement and amendments produced by both internal staff and external third parties
- Provide technical expertise regarding policy wording and its interpretation to internal departments and sales staff.
- Train and mentor Contract Administrators

- You leverage critical thinking skills to identify problems and proactively propose solutions.
- Your strong communication skills allow you to clearly convey messages.
- You're an effective team player who shares knowledge to support your peers.
- Completion of post-secondary education with 3 years of previous group insurance experience
- Industry related education (GBA/CEBS)
- Excellent understanding of Co-operators group insurance products
- Strong analytical, problem solving and research skills and the ability to work independently
- Accuracy with a strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of underwriting concepts, group insurance benefits and contract law a definite asset
