    Director of Sales, Operations - Utility
    Manage sales & marketing strategies for the Alberta Utilities market, focusing on ensuring Noramco becomes the premiere utility suppler in Alberta:
    (70%) Collaborate with local Account Managers, Sales Managers, and Profit Centre Managers (PCMs) in growing existing Utility customers. Actively engage with new prospects in the utility & rail transit market. Gather market data and obtain standards cable specification from all utility companies in Alberta. Manage local vendor relationships to ensure Noramco Utilities is viewed as a prominent partner for utilities wire and cable. Visit the Profit Centres frequently and develop local marketing strategies with Marketing Manager that will drive sales to PC.
    (20%) Manage local vendor relationships to ensure Noramco Utilities is viewed as a prominent partner for utilities wire and cable. Actively engage in sourcing projects and monitor opportunities in all major public tender platforms. Collaborate with PCMs and Director of Sales Operation-Utility with regards to utility inventories in the Alberta market. Ensure inventory turns ratio targets are met for products purchased.
    (10%) Work in conjunction with the PC Manager to ensure an efficient flow of inventory is maintained. Develop forecasting for the AB market with the PCMs & Director of Sales Operation-Utility. Implement and drive the National Utility Sales Strategies & Initiatives through the PCs.
    Ensure all job functions are performed in accordance to the NCS International Standard Practice Instruction (SPI) Manual;
    Manages the Maritimes Operations that supports our Utility business;
    Works with Utilities National Director to develop meaningful strategies for key customers;
    Deal with every escalated customer complaint in an expedient manner and ensure they are satisfied with our resolve;
    Identify and help develop internal/external opportunities to further enable profitable sales growth of the department. Assist in building strong customer relationships with senior management at key customer accounts;
    Manage sales and expense budgets to realize our annual forecasted objectives;
    Work with the Utilities Director to manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction;
    Work with others on the Noramco Utilities team to provide consistent and accurate sales forecasting;
    Assist the Utilities Director to compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions;
    Coordinate the opening of new accounts and maintain the existing customer base in your territory;
    Provide basic technical support on products when customer inquiries are directed to you;
    Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to the management team;
    Proficient in English. Bilingual is a plus.
    Solid understanding of financial management and forecasting
    Advanced computer skills and knowledge
    Proficient in collecting data and understand the importance of utilizing data
