    Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Accounts Receivable

    • Using data entry to change paper records to a digital format
    • Organizing and updating digital or paper records
    • Calculating billing amounts, and printing and mailing bills when needed
    • Reminding customers about upcoming payments or past-due accounts
    • Making electronic or cash deposits to company bank accounts
    • Using software to send invoices and payment reminders electronically
    • Keeping accurate records of payments that they receive from customers
    • Creating reports for supervisors and providing digital or paper copies of records when requested

    Accounts Payable

    • Changing paper records to a digital format through data entry
    • Accurately calculating billing amounts
    • Recording daily, weekly, and monthly expenses
    • Meeting with Auditors, as needed
    • Explaining bills to customers and collecting payments
    • Maintaining inventory levels by placing orders with suppliers as needed
    • Searching for vendor discounts and other savings opportunities
    • Anticipating future costs like equipment upgrades or repairs
    • Distributing payments to suppliers and employees, including granting or denying petty cash requests

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's in Accounting required.
    • Proficiency in English, including oral and written communication.
    • Detailed oriented with solid analytical and organizational skills.
    • Intermediate to expert level in Excel (pivot tables, building spreadsheets, formulas, etc)
    • ERP knowledge a plus, Sage, SAP, Oracle, Odoo or similar .

    Job Type: Part-time

    Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 30 per week
