    Description

    What you'll do:

  • Provide expertise and mentorship for Network, Security, and Collaboration Platforms, guiding project teams through design, testing, and support.
  • Lead project management for system improvements, upgrades, and turnovers to operations (TTO), ensuring seamless integration.
  • Serve as a primary liaison with CRC departments, addressing all IT requirements and delivering functional support for critical applications 24/7.
  • Continually review and improve processes and controls within the IT area such as license management, logging, gathering and analysis of metrics, and reporting on the progress of any bugs or support issues for all the supported Refinery Network, Security and Collaboration Platforms.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain KPIs, performance benchmarks and system documentation for all Network, Security and Collaboration Platforms

    The Team: You will work closely with Network Manager and will Lead mentor and monitor the work of 2 unionized full-time employees as well as 2 to 3 contract resources depending on the requirements of various initiatives in the Manufacturing division.     Who you are:

    You are looking for a career in Information Technology and:

  • Have 8+ years of work experience in supporting, including systems implementation experience.
  • Have a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
  • Plant Operations specifically around IT and industrial and business networks, including familiarity with several of these: Work Orders, Materials Management, Preventative / Predictive / Proactive Maintenance, Management of Change, Permitting, Inventory, Procurement, Scheduling, Job Costing, Inspections, Equipment Reliability and Root Cause Analysis, or other industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of Cisco product stack Kemp load balancers, certificate management, WAN/LAN protocols.
  • Related certification is an asset: ITIL, PMP, CCNP CCNA CCIE.
