    Description
    Data Solution Architect (Contract Position)


    Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 7 months initial contractLocation: Toronto, ON, CAMust be eligible to work in CanadaHybrid position, 2-3days /week onsite in TorontoRoles and responsibilities:Be part of a high-profile team with a multitude of opportunities to deliver transformative data solutions to our business customers.

    Collaborate with members of various technical teams to develop solutions that address the needs of our key data customers.
    Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to ensure adherence to EA principles and guidelines.
    Develop scalable and robust architectures that can support the growing volumes of our data environments.
    Deliver architectures that meet our enterprise security and data protection standards.

    Ensure the architecture is aligned with our corporate vision and objectives, while being able to propose innovative new approaches to problem solving.

    Participate in multiple projects/families into cover for parental leave, vacations etc.


    Must have skills and qualifications:


    8+yrs of data architecture experience8+yrs of experience designing and managing centralized, end-to-end data architecture solutions8+yrs of experience developing database solutions, installing and configuring information systems, and analyzing structural requirements8+yrs of experience in supporting data strategy project, working on data depersonalization, ingestion patterns, data management lifecycle, disaster recovery, ransomware/backup for enterprise data platformProfile sought: Passionate about creating responsive and scalable data pipeline architectures.

    Able to thrive in a diverse team of Business Architects, Solution Architects, Data Architect, work with delivery teams.
    Able to take a business problem and turn it into a technological solution.
    Able to communicate effectively to explain your resolutions.
    Comfortable working in complex and constantly changing environments, with multidisciplinary teams.

    Being able to effectively challenge the Status quo and set standard and direction for the solutions A very good communicator who excels at explaining your ideas.

    Well organized, unable to multitask and manage priorities.
