    Description
    We are currently looking for a millwright to join a growing manufacturing facility in Kitchener.
    We are seeking someone with a heavy industrial background preferably from steel or metal.

    Kitchener


    Shift:
    Days or Afternoons


    Payrate:
    $42 per hour

    We are only looking for someone with a 442a or 309a ticket

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by: Completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and highspeed packaging machines. Following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications and troubleshooting malfunctions
    • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming preferred
    • Install, inspect, and test electrical panels, wiring systems, and components for various building equipment and machinery
    • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
    • Identify, troubleshoot, and repair problems in industrial electrical wiring and equipment PLCs
    • Install, calibrate, and maintain systems measuring production efficiency
    • Perform necessary mechanical troubleshooting and repair tasks
    • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls
    • Conduct preventive maintenance programs (Electrical and Mechanical) and maintain maintenance records
    • May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
    Qualifications

    • 442a license preferred however 309a with industrial experience welcomed
    • You have fall arrest, working from heights certification if not, willing to obtain
    • You have strong communication skills both written and verbally
    • Experience in the food industry considered an asset
    • You are quick to answer time critical calls and assess the situation and repair as needed
