    We are in search of a detail-oriented and highly organized Bilingual (English/French) Paralegal for our subsidiary, LendCare Capital Inc.

    This two-month contract is a perfect opportunity for an early career candidate to gain hands-on experience in the Small Claims Court process.

    We also offer full-time hours, competitive base pay and performance bonuses.

    Conduct and complete legal research as required
    Arrange and manage legal settlements and collections
    Open, maintain, and organize a high quantity of legal files
    Liaise with other members of the legal department
    Licensed with the Law Society of Ontario
    Must have the ability to communicate in both French and English, verbally and in writing
    Knowledge of the Rules of the Small Claims Court and Small Claims Debt Collections
    Relevant working experience is an asset but not required
    Excellent computer skills and the ability to adapt to company systems
    Valid driver's license and vehicle for court appearances (mileage reimbursed)
    Fulltime availability (40 hours/week) and ability to work in our head office in Pickering, ON
