    Working in conjunction with the VP of Product, Product Specialist, closely with the development team, and other stakeholders, the Product Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining the vision, strategy, roadmap, business goals and marketing activities for their product portfolio.

    Maintain a knowledgebase of Win/Loss product usage data gathered from Sales and directly from customers. Use this data to guide new product line requirements.
    Search for key development partners to augment the product line, brand and new markets.

    This document will describe the capabilities to be implemented indicating whether these are customer requests, competitive matching or solutions to industry problems that are enabled via new or existing technologies.

    Collaborate with Development and marketing teams to plan product lifecycle events (product launch, releases, end of life, etc.)
    Communicate desired capabilities to the development team.
    Responsible for training of internal resources such as sales and professional services
    Maintenance and evolution of the brand
    Ads, Catalog, Website content, Product packaging
    Creation and supervision of show reels & training videos
    Planning for key trade shows (IBC, NAB)
    Assist RSMs and BDMs with responses to tender documents, sales strategy and technical questions for key opportunities.
    Work with the Product Marketing & Pricing Systems team to ensure Salesforce is maintained with recent product information.
    Assist in resolution of customer complaints regarding equipment, supplier and services
    Develop the team to a leading, independent unit.
    A post-secondary degree in a related field (Engineering, Marketing)
    Good understanding of a production control room environment
    Familiarity with complex system (hardware and software) development processes eg, Agile NPI, etc.
    Experience working in or around studio broadcast – ideally in a technical role.
    Ideally local to the products – Ottawa, Canada
    Office (primary) work environment.
    Valid driver's license
