This position will also take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new employees and recommend dismissal.
Help organize projects under the direction of the Supervisor(s) or Manager
Order, monitor and receive housekeeping supplies according to weekly quota sheets.
Attend in-services, departmental meetings, and education programs such as WHMIS, Standard Precautions, and Infection Control as required to keep current with housekeeping technology, practices, safety issues, and company policies and procedures.
Reports any noticeable maintenance problems or safety hazards to Housekeeping Supervisor.Follow required cleaning procedures for terminal and isolation cleaning and hazardous spills. Completes task sheets and /or discusses any concerns, issues with immediate supervisor.
Do you have what it takes to be one of our Housekeeping Lead Hands ? 2 years of housekeeping experience and/or training in custodial work is required.
