We are seeking a proactive and experienced
Class 3 Driver to join our team.


The Class 3 Driver's License is responsible for safely operating dump trucks, F350, F650, 40 Ft trailer/flat decks, excavators and skid steer.

The Class 3 driver works under the general supervision of the Site Superintendent and exercises initiative and independent judgement in the performance of assigned tasks.

This role does not manage employees. The Class 3 driver reports to the Site Superintendent.

  • Ensure safety is a priority that is managed in every project

Responsibilities:


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive dump trucks, F350, F650, 40 Ft trailers/flat decks, excavators and skid steers safely
  • Accurately inspect trucks maintenance, and report any accidents, injuries, mechanical faults, and up and coming services to management.
  • Stop unsafe work or any work that does not meet our requirements and standards
  • Knowledge of pre, post and how to full out log books properly
  • Must be proficient with speaking and writing English language
  • Properly load and tie down equipment on flat deck
  • Ability to secure tire chains on for winter driving
  • Represent the company in a professional manner
  • Knowledge of Lower Mainland
  • Secure walking floor trailer or roll off bins as per company procedure and inspect in transit if necessary.
  • Perform vehicles inspections daily, as well as checking fuel, oil, and other fluids levels. Replenishing fluid levels when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager or management team.
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
  • Keep company vehicle clean and free of garbage
  • Fuel tank must be full at the end of shift each day

Required Experience & Skills

  • Valid Class 3 Commercial Drivers License
  • 5+ years' experience safely driving commercial vehicles
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision
  • Ability to work a variety of hours
  • Excellent problemsolving, customer service and communication skills.
  • Must have full

PPE:
Steel toe boots with green triangle designation, gloves ect.

  • Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations.
