    Job Title: Project Manager
    Location: Mississauga, ON
    Type: 3 month Contract to Permanent

    Interviews start: August 15, 2012


    Starts: September 17, 2012



    Overview:

    Our client is seeking a talented Project Manager with a strong retail PM background along with software experience to join their team.



    Job Duties/Responsibilities:



    -Ensure projects are completed on-time, within budget, and within customer expectations of quality and functionality


    -Prepare and maintain a detailed project schedule and play a lead role in scoping, planning, costing, and pricing projects; responsible for statement of work development and risk assessment


    -Manage customer acceptance of the solution, ensuring customer expectations stay in line with the agreed statement of work; taking the lead in working through all issue


    -Coordinate the establishment of a project environment that includes preparing and maintaining a roles/responsibility matrix, personnel plan and resource schedule for each project member.


    -Measure, track, evaluate and communicate progress against the Project schedule using project reports including project financials and project reporting compliance.


    -Author a weekly status report that is distributed and reviewed each week with the end user (Customer) in status meetings.


    -Tool usage will include but is not limited to MS Project, PSA, Excel and MS Word


    -Ensure execution and accuracy of monthly forecasts, billings along with the managing procurement and payment of contractors


    -Travel is estimated to be approximately 40% of a work year.



    Qualifications/Experience/Education:



    -4-8 years of project management experience


    -Experience at working effectively in challenging solution implementation environments


    -Experience managing complex, technology projects


    -Appropriate PM formal education which could be: Completion of ESI courseware with Master's -Certificate in Project Management, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification through PMI, NCR's PMIC


    -French Canadian Verbal and Written Skills an asset.
