    Integration Specialist

    We are looking for a new team member to fill the position of Integration Specialist/Coordinator. Working closely with an internal and external team responsible for implementing a transformational ERP project at NorLand, this role will coordinate the development, testing, and delivery of agreed extensions, customizations, and integrations for multiple key business applications. After rollout of the ERP solution, the Integration Specialist/Coordinator will be responsible for continuous improvement and development of application integrations that will be key enablers for the business.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the development, testing, and delivery of agreed extensions, customizations, and integrations for multiple key business applications
  • Understanding the enterprise applications landscape and the ERP program solution architecture, to deliver key systems integrations that improve productivity and business performance
  • Coordinating with vendor resources to ensure that integrations are delivered on time and as agreed
  • Understanding the technical components of planned and delivered integrations
  • Planning and coordinating testing and user acceptance of integrations
  • Establishing and maintaining standards and procedures related to the integration of information systems solutions
  • Ensuring that integrations are adequately documented and recorded
  • Providing support and trouble-shooting integration issues and ensuring a high level of user satisfaction
  • Assisting with ongoing maintenance and improvement of integrations
  • Building and maintaining strong internal client and vendor relationships

    • Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in information technology, systems development, or a combination of relevant experience, education and training
  • Experience in the interpretation of business requirements into technical specifications
  • Demonstrated understanding of information systems development and integration tools, methodologies, and platforms, such as application to application integrations, services, internal and external API options, file transfer, and EDI
  • Good understanding of database organization options and available DBMS'
  • Advanced knowledge of relational database concepts and advanced SQL knowledge
  • Good understanding of ERP concepts and prior experience with ERP implementation
  • Experience in the construction industry would be an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent vendor and stakeholder management skills
  • Customer service orientation with a positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time, while maintaining attention to detail and organized approach
  • Excellent problem-solving ability, and the ability to assess and manage risk associated with expected deliverables
  • Familiarity with change management best practices
  • Profiency with MS Office tools, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Vision.

    • The role is a permanent, full-time position with a typical salary range of $80,000 – $95,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate's competencies, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, experience, and internal pay structures. As a part of NorLand's total compensation package, this position is eligible for other benefits subject to program eligibility.
