    Description

    Xpediant Digital is seeking technologists who are self-driven and business solution focused with a proven track record of high integrity, a "get it done" attitude, and a passion for helping organizations solve complex business problems using technology. This candidate will have strong Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience developing in the enterprise-class web content management ecosystems.These positions (multiple architect levels) can be located anywhere in the US based on experience and qualifications.     As an integral part of our team, you are/have:

    • A professional with 4 to 10+ years (depending on level) of software/web development, integration, and architecture experience with a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant areas
    • Experienced in the Life Sciences industry, in particular Pharmaceuticals (preferred, but not required)
    • Experienced working within a collaborative, cross-functional agency environment, particularly with QA analysts, creatives, UX and Visual designers, strategy, and business analysts
    • An experienced technologist in the CMS, DAM, and creative ecosystem; understand the CMS and DAM space; and, have scoped, developed, and supported sites using industry leading CMS and DAM solutions (AEM is one of those, Veeva Vault or Drupal may be others)
    • Working to stay current with development trends and innovative technologies
    • Actively pursuing certifications to help you grow

    Responsibilities include:

    • Build, lead, mentor, and encourage a team of engineers and help steer their competencies and career growth (experience dependent)
    • Architect solutions with your deep understanding of digital solutions from Adobe, Dell Boomi, and Salesforce, with a focus on the digital marketing stack
    • Work closely with creative teams, front end engineers, and leadership to bring the site vision to life while ensuring best practice solutions are implemented
    • Work directly with clients' technical staffs to establish relationships and become a trusted advisor
    • Implement complex components, templates, and API integrations following architecture best practices
    • Translate business requirements into well-architected system designs and solutions while identifying project risk points and defining mitigation strategies
    • Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions that are aligned with business objectives
    • Participate in sales solutioning and proposal creation; develop detailed estimates and project plans
    • Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of AEM implementations
    • Develop custom solutions and interfaces leveraging the Adobe platform, including AEM/CQ, CRX, CQ WCM, and DAM
    • Design and manage test plans to ensure quality solutions are delivered
    • Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate best practices and design patterns are being utilized effectively
    • Diagnose and solve technical problems related to entire web application, including performance, stability, and security
    • Participate in post launch reviews to assess continuous improvement
    • Represent Xpediant Digital in the engineering community, including supporting recruiting and hiring

    Additional Requirements:

    • 4+ years of experience with Adobe AEM/CQ
    • 4+ years of experience with other CMS/DAMs
    • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies
    • Hands on engineer with deep working experience on Adobe Experience Cloud and understanding of standard Java development, particularly in web application development (e.g., Java, J2EE, application server development, Spring, Ajax, OSGI, JCR, and SQL)
    • Experience with dev-ops pipelines and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Docker, Chef, etc.) and at least one cloud infrastructure provider (e.g., AWS and/or Azure)
    • Experience developing iconic experiences with modern SPAs such as ReactJS and VueJS
    • Multi-solution architect and engineer with demonstrated expertise delivering solutions on the Adobe Experience Cloud using version 6.3+ (e.g., AEM, Assets, Analytics, Target, etc.)
    • Experience building modern decoupled web applications (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) backed by REST or GraphQL web services
    • System architecture experience including cloud infrastructure, data management, RESTful APIs, basic system administration, and dev-ops
    • Develop custom solutions and interfaces leveraging the Adobe platform, including AEM/CQ, CRX, CQ WCM, and DAM
    • Development and architectural experience with WCM, CMS, CRXDE, CRXDE Lite, OSGI Framework, JCR, Apache sling, and DAM
    • Custom AEM reusable components (e.g., Widgets, Templates, Widgets on top of JCR and Apache Sling, Apache Jackrabbit CRX, and AEM)
    • Programming experience in J2EE, Java, JSP, Sightly, Servlets, Struts, Spring, Web services, ANT, Maven, HTML5, XML, CSS, EJB, JSON, JMS, JDBC, RWD, and Oracle
    • Experience integrating Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics with AEM
