    Description

    Safety is the most important consideration on our sites. Candidates should have the following minimal requirements to be considered for the position of Project Safety Coordinator:

    • Certification as a Project Safety Coordinator
    • First Aid – Level 3
    • Trained in WHMIS– Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working in the construction industry

    The successful candidate:

    • Will be well-versed in ITC's Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manual and diligently implement and manage the Site Safety Program
    • We be driven and can work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.
    • Will manage all site safety documentation and operational requirements proactively and accurately.
    • Will have well-developed communication skills.
    • Will develop positive working relationships with all trade personnel and teammates.
    • Will be detailed oriented in all aspects of documentation and reporting
    • Good knowledge of Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) Regulations and Procedures for Provincial for Canadian Operations and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
