    Summary

    The Pricing Strategy Consultant is responsible for our pricing strategy by product, market and customer. They will provide management and key stakeholders with strategic insights, recommendations and analytical information that will enable the design and execution of effective pricing and re-pricing strategies.

    Detailed Description

    Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Developing, preparing and presenting pricing analytics and insights to management for customer RFQs / price model updates
  • Driving continuous improvement and breakthrough thinking in pricing processes, systems, methods and tools.
  • Product costing analysis including competitive benchmarking of design, NRE, BOM and Manufacturing costs
  • Perform pricing sensitivity analysis based on volumes, regions and other variables
  • Pricing strategy by customer type and market segment
  • Support Market GM's and Sales business/pricing decisions
  • New products pricing and strategy

    • Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Excellent understanding of global business environment and Customers business, organization, products and processes.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel skills, utilizing best practices in price modeling
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of financial statement interdependencies
  • Broad knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment and processes
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to effectively source information, obtain approvals, build relationships, and provide sufficient influence to achieve success
  • Expert knowledge of office systems and analytical tools.
  • Expert problem solving skills
  • Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions and with suppliers/ customers to achieve Celestica's goals

    • Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
  • Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc)
  • Occasional overnight travel is required

    • Typical Experience

  • 10+ years of business experience in Electronics Manufacturing Operations, Finance FP&A or Pricing roles
  • Experience with Global Pricing RBC is a plus

    • Typical Education

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant business or finance field.
  • Education experience may vary by geography.

    Location: This is a remote position, with travel as necessary. We are open to considering candidates close to any of our US locations in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, Oregon or California as well as locations near major airports such as the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Pacific Coast.
