    Victoria Newitt Recruitment Inc has been retained by our 'Client' to search for an Innovation Lead.

    Our 'Client'are looking todouble their business across North America over the next three years, they are looking for an innovation rock-star to help them drive aggressive growth through new product innovation for both brands.

    • Key Responsibilities:
  • Development of Innovation roadmap to deliver long term sales and profit growth
  • Lead innovation through an internal stage gate process
  • Conducts research as needed to gain consumer insights and assess innovation opportunities.
  • Develops product concepts to facilitate the volume and profit growth in support of annual objectives.
  • Develops forecasts and budgets for new products and participates in the overall company innovation stage gate, commercial team and budgeting process.
  • Leads commercialization of select innovation projects.
  • Manages the Innovation and marketing programs on time and within budget
  • Leads cross-functional teams effectively to achieve stated objectives
  • Works collaboratively with the Brand Marketing team
  • Prepares Sales and Trade presentations to proactively engage partners in strategic innovation projects
  • Be an effective leader of the Marketing Team and create effective working relationships across internal and external departments
  • Evaluates market reactions to product launches, making timely adjustments to strategies and plans (including formulations, packaging and merchandising approaches) to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Remains current on our industry and general marketing knowledge. Keeps Management informed on developments.
  • Carries out other related duties as required.
    • Qualifications / Behaviors:
  • 5-10 years in marketing, with experience in lifestyle and values-led brands an asset; CPG and stage gate experience as assets
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (marketing, business)
