    Our Client is dedicated to quality and craftsmanship. Located in Ottawa, they pride themselves on providing a healthy, diverse, and balanced work environment. Working with a team of over 250 Full-time employees, top contractors, and professionals, we have built more than 8,000 Tarion certified homes, 4,000 condominiums and several retirement homes totaling 500 suites. We are seeking a leasing administrator to support their downtown sites. Working with some beautiful new locations, this opportunity will be situated in the downtown core and act as a floater between three close sites.

    The role of the Lease Administrator will play an essential role within the residential portfolio. You will be involved in tenant relations, coordinating the maintenance of the property, and supporting tenants to ensure the building has the appropriate resources for their clients. The main objectives of the Lease Administrator will be to ensure the occupancy, safety and cleanliness of the building is maintained. Responsibilities for the Lease Administrator would include:

    • Providing exceptional customer service to tenants and vendors and follow up post service calls.
    • Respond to requests and problems within a timely manner and coordinate with the facilities team to ensure emergencies are tended to.
    • Conduct periodic inspections of property and tenant spaces to ensure compliance with leases and proper upkeep of the property.
    • Ensure files are in proper order with tenant lease files, records, references, notes, and correspondence.
    • Coordinate the promotion of vacancies, tenant identification and marketing to ensure capacity is met.
    • Assist in production of any monthly charges and prepare any transactions required for the tenant and rents are collected on time.

    The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in business or office administration and a minimum of 1 year of experience working within an office environment. You will understand your way around a lease, and service contracts and any experience working with the Landlord and Tenant Board would be an asset. We are looking for someone with fantastic customer service skills and who takes tremendous pride in their work. You will have your pulse on your clients, your building operations, and the health & safety of the site. The Leasing Administrator is the liaison between the property management team and the tenants, and your ability to work with people, communicate well, and maintain proper detailed files will be essential. Thie role is perfect for someone who loves to deal with people but can bring the back-office function with a front office personality.
