    Description

    ABOUT US:

    ZOOMLION, a leading player in the global engineering machinery industry is growing and has positions available at Zoomlion North America's warehouse in Mississauga, Canada.

    Directly responsible for the activities of warehouse, parts inventory, shipping and receiving.

    when to shift, consolidate, and arrange items; Typical work week is Monday through Friday, however additional time and/or travel may be needed on occasion.

    Build and maintain warehouse, parts inventory and delivery system.
    Inventory parts to maintain 70-90% of fill off the shelf with 100% of fill within 10 days.

    Manages and controls the parts inventory level, ensuring an adequate inventory and efficient use of warehouse space and requisitions or purchase additional items, as necessary.

    Create and maintain parts inventory and pricing data in the ERP system.
    Inspect parts site(s) to determine the extent of additional storage, maintenance or repairs needed.
    Create policies and procedures for parts department.
    Assist corporate Zoomlion with parts department set up, processes and operations procedures.
    Inspect equipment used in the process of shipping and receiving, for wear and for conformance to specifications.
    Provide training to staff to include forklift, overhead crane, safety, shipping & receiving process, etc.
    Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
    Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.

    Resource Management (People & Equipment) - Ability to obtain and appropriate the proper usage of equipment, facilities, materials, as well as personnel.

    High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school)

    Preferred, Field of Study:
    Management or related field.
    3 plus years of experience in leadership experience, including hiring, terminating and performance reviews
    ~5 plus years of experience in parts/inventory management
    ~ International distribution experience preferred.


    Computer Skills:
    ERP knowledge and experience preferred in inventory control management systems (Business Central a plus).
