    Job Title: Human Resources Generalist (Intermediate) – Data Analysis
    Location: Calgary, AB
    Start Date: April 15th
    Duration: 8 months

    The HR Project Management Office (PMO) is accountable to lead a portfolio of HR projects that support the organization's strategic goals and people strategy. We are seeking a Business Analyst to serve as the key point of contact on data management and analysis on an upcoming project. The successful candidate will provide data tracking and analysis support, perform statistical and qualitative analysis, and present insights and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Serve as the key point of contact on HR data management and analysis in the HR projects team.
    • Collaborate across the HR PMO, HR Reporting, Cost Accounting, and other key Corporate Function stakeholders to define data requirements and objectives.
    • Identify, collect, and validate HR and cost data from various sources.
    • Apply data quality and governance standards to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
    • Use appropriate tools and techniques to analyze data and identify trends, patterns, gaps, and opportunities.
    • Prepare and deliver data analysis reports and presentations, using charts, graphs, tables, and dashboards.
    • Communicate findings and recommendations to project stakeholders and senior management.
    To be successful in this role, you will need:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Experience in data analysis, data visualization, and data management.
    • Knowledge of HR metrics, benchmarks, and best practices preferred.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
