    This position is a temporary co-op placement located in our Calgary, Edmonton or Cold Lake office.

    The placement term will be from May to December 2024 with the potential for a permanent full-time position beginning January 2025.

    Various types of fieldwork including but not limited to surface water/groundwater monitoring and sampling, drilling, test pitting, remedial excavations, and reclamation

    • Subcontractor management, logging/texturing soils and operating various types of environmental related field equipment
    • Collection of accurate field data using best practices and following standard operating procedures
    • Support and assist Project Managers in all aspects of project execution including coordination and procurement of project supplies and subcontractor services
    • Preparation and execution of technical reports
    • Mentorship and training of new and junior staff
    • University Degree or Technical Diploma from accredited institution, plus appropriate continuing education
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in assessment, remediation, and monitoring in the field of environmental consulting
    • Experience in either the oil and gas industry or mining is considered an asset
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel
