- Provide exceptional customer service ensuring all customer needs have been met and customers have been educated on all logistic solutions the Company offers.
- Assist customers on how to use our web portals.
- Educate customers on duty taxes, import taxes, package fees, custom declarations, customs prohibited items and restrictions.
- Answer questions customers may have in regards to shipping cost and time frames, extra processing fees and other additional carrier option fees such as signature requirement and parcel insurance.
- Accurate with data entry of parcel details and customer shipping information.
- Must be able to comfortably operate our mailing solutions and portals. Correctly select, print and label parcels and provide customer receipts.
- Able to perform cash, debit and credit transactions accurately using our payment terminal.
- Sort and batch parcels in gaylords by carrier for easy pickup by daily driver.
- Accurately retrieve parcels for customer pick up, following pick up procedures and correctly accepting payments.
- Able to physically transport parcels off the truck either manually or with assistance of a pump truck/dolly. This may also include bending, reaching, lifting and carrying weighing up to 60lbs.
- Organize incoming inventory and accurately scan parcels into corresponding manifest dates.
- Careful and considerate while handling parcels.
- Complete morning cash count and closing cash reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean and organized store presentation.
- Ensuring all marketing materials are up-to-date.
- Organize, replenish and order supplies as required.
- Adaptable and flexible to the needs of the business.
- Always ensure professional practices are in the best interest of the business.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and standing for long periods at a time.
- Able to troubleshoot and problem solve independently.
- Detail-oriented and accurate with data entry.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a similar environment.
- Minimum 1 year experience working with computer software and POS systems.
- Warehouse experience with shipping and receiving.
- Knowledge of parcel and carrier shipping an asset.
- English is the principal language for this position. This position requires good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Customer Service Associate position is to support the Operations Manager and management team in ensuring the day-to-day retail operations are operating smoothly, accurately, and efficiently. This role is to contribute to building a strong company brand, through high quality customer service and promoting all service lines offered to both new and existing B2B/B2C customers. This role is expected to practice efficiency with all daily work duties with attention to detail and accuracy in an effort to reduce company financial loss and prevent impacts on company reputation. Efforts are also to be made to adhere to all company policies and procedures and to help foster a strong work culture.
