    Environmental Project Manager

    Our Kamloops, BC Land Quality and Remediation team has an immediate need for an Environmental Project Manager to support our expanding work in this area.

    If you are looking for a chance to grow your career as a young professional, you have outstanding experience in implementing data collection / sampling programs, and you have some experience with project coordination and management, look no further You will work closely with a group of amazing young professionals in the contaminated sites assessment and remediation industry to design, implement, and deliver a wide range of programs for a diverse client base across BC.

    Our team has great projects across the Power, Energy, Infrastructure, Mining, Industrial, and Built Environment sectors, and you will gain experience in a wide range of environmental projects including but not limited to:

    environmental compliance, waste management and waste discharge permitting, general environmental due diligence, environmental planning, construction environmental management, and environmental monitoring impact assessment.

    These projects will include a range of responsibilities from managing colleagues and overseeing interdisciplinary projects to authoring technical summary reports, designing work programs, preparing competitive proposals for new work, and mentoring staff.

    Fieldwork coordination, data compilation, and reporting associated with environmental site assessment and remediation projects


    • Project management, logistical coordination, and supervision of junior and intermediate staff.
    • Liaise with clients and regulatory agencies
    • Provision of technical leadership through mentoring of staff during project delivery and for other aspects such as Health and Safety, training, team building and other as required
    • Ideally, you will have significant field work experience and exposure to designing and implementing site assessment and remediation programs, client management, invoicing, and writing proposals. Your attention to detail and organization skills help you excel in your current role, and you are looking to gain additional responsibility at the project management level, and as a leader within the team and office.

    • 5+ years of experience in a similar consulting role in the environmental services industry
    • Strong technical background in environmental site assessment and remediation, waste discharge permitting and compliance, and/or construction environmental management. Specialization in other environmental disciplines is helpful and can supplement your core experiences.
    • Working knowledge of provincial IBC CSR), federal (CCME / CWS), local, and industry specific environmental regulations and guidelines
    • Undergraduate or Master's degree in environmental science, engineering or geosciences preferred
    • Valid driver's license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required for travel to job sites/clients
