- Manage all human resources to support short and long-term production execution, including staffing needs, development, and training.
- Coordinate daily activities within the department to execute operational plans in alignment with cost, quality, and service parameters.
- Manage and improve production systems, analyze technical requirements, and engage the team in health & safety and quality standards.
- Develop and execute action plans for health and safety, quality, service, productivity, waste, and costs in partnership with support functions.
- Evaluate equipment installations, develop improvement projects, and participate in purchasing decisions for departmental equipment and installations.
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree.
- 8-10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with 3-5 years in a similar managerial position.
- Mastery of LEAN concepts and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience managing a team of approximately 100 employees is preferred.
- Multifunctional experience and familiarity with pharmaceutical or food environments are assets.
- Bilingualism in French and English is essential.
- Mobilizing leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.
