Description

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist for the Department of National Defence (DND) with a Security Clearance Level of Secret

Job Specifications:

The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a University degree in Engineering or Science from a recognized academic institution.
*The list of recognized organizations can be found under the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials web site
The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has obtained either a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Projects in Controlled Environments (PRINCE2) Practitioner C ertification
The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has obtained Canadian Risk Management (CRM) certification or a Project Management Institute (PMI) Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certification
The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has five (5) years' experience within the past ten (10) years performing risk assessments on scientific equipment.
The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has five (5) years' experience within the past ten (10) years as a Project Manager
The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has authored a minimum of three (3) decision documents for executive approval. A decision document could be a briefing note, a letter, a memorandum, a proposed budget, or a bid package submitted for approval to someone holding the position of director or higher.
