    Government Relations Manager - Ottawa, ON

    Government Relations Manager – Ottawa, ON

    Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Director for Canada, the Government Affairs Manager will drive strategic government and external relations related to tobacco and nicotine products in Canada.

    Create and implement strategic plans that anticipate development within the regulatory environment (Federally & Provincially).
    Further expand the company's relationships with key government officials and their staff. Coordinate and handle tasks performed by outside consultants in collaboration with the Regulatory Affairs Manager.
    Handle various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager's request.
    Post-secondary education in a related field (political science, law, economics, public relations, etc.).
    At least 5 years' experience working in Corporate/Public Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, or political institution.
    Bilingualism in French a key asset.
    Must take initiative, demonstrate critical analysis, have shown influencing and problem-solving skills.
