    We are currently looking for a Bilingual Technical Trainer to join our team in Kirkland Q C at our Eastern Regional Office.

    This role will be responsible for providing technical training development, delivery and associated programs supporting both Dealership Technicians and NCI staff.

    Job functions Include but are not limited to :

  • Prepare and deliver technical training to Dealership Technicians and NCI staff
  • Administer Master Technician Program and courses by acting upon information contained in Nissan University, course schedules, and implement training activities and logistics
  • Participate in the design and implementation of instruments relating to instructional quality, Technician course requirements, and T3 (Train the Trainer) sessions
  • Research and select content for the XTRA program
  • Assist with the development and execution of the NISTEC Technician Skills competition including contest activities, diagnostic challenges, and program administration
  • Manage your Technical Training Center to ensure it is maintained in a neat and orderly working fashion and meets all safety standards.

    • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Must be fully bilingual, French and English.
  • Licensed Automotive Technician with a minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship hands on experience within a dealership service department, or equivalent, plus 3 years preferred in a lead Technical or Technical Instructor position, instructional techniques and course development experience.
  • Using superior technical diagnosis/verbal/written communication and analytical skills provide the appropriate repair procedure, by efficiently analyzing the information available and explaining decisions to the dealerships' technical staff in a classroom/training center setting.
  • PC and software proficient with complex programs and able to provide technical analysis and support for specialty technical software programs, such as ECM/TCM reprogramming download, etc. Able to operate very precise and advanced vehicle test/service equipment.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to handle extremely confidential and sensitive information.
