    Description
    Our Client are Ireland's largest MV/HV Contractor. They are now seeking a H&S officer to work on a number of Cork based High Voltage Projects.
    Review EH&S systems periodically with the Senior Management Team.
    # Establish and maintain a documents and data control system.
    # Initiate follow-up audit activities to ensure the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
    # Verify the HSE system manual and procedures.
    # Ensure full implementation of the HSE Management system.
    # Supervise employees and subcontractors on site to ensure compliance with EH&S Manual, EH&S Induction Handbook, and waste management procedures.
    # Act as the organization's representative on the project site for EH&S matters.
    # Have the authority to halt any work or activity on the project if unsafe, and assist in making the site safe.
    # Conduct EH&S site inspections with site staff to ensure compliance with EH&S management system, legal requirements, and customer's HSE contractual requirements.
    # Record and analyze information on first aid cases, near misses, injuries, damages, and losses during project execution.
    # Conduct HSE induction training for on-site employees and subcontractor staff.

    Understanding of ISO Management Procedures & Implementation.
    Degree or Diploma in Health and Safety.
    Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
