    Description

    The EAX team is crucial to creating that connection through products that grow and engage our community of players.

    the EA desktop app, EA's direct-to-consumer PC games platform; and a host of other consumer experiences and strategies, all with the goal of engaging players across platforms and within our games.

    Working as an embedded user researcher on the In-Game Experiences (IGX) team, you will build the team's foundational knowledge on social gaming; help the team create future experiences for players and studios; This is a remote role that reports to the team's Staff UX Researcher.

    Lead generative and evaluative research studies from start to end

    • Collect and analyze data using a variety of qualitative techniques and approaches
    • Communicate critical insights from the research to team members across Product, Design, and Engineering
    • Experience communicating the most important research insights and using those insights to help your team make better decisions
    • Experience with the most common qualitative user research methodologies (user interviews, usability testing) and familiarity with others
    • Experience with user research recruitment and analysis tools, such as UserTesting, Dovetail, AirTable, or Miro

    In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.

    For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.
