- Develop and implement cost control strategies and methods within projects
- Provide support to project management in the development of the detailed work plan, codifications and work breakdown structure (WBS)
- Budget planning, monitoring, control and closing of project costs
- Prepare and monitor master and detailed schedules, incorporate changes and analyze impacts
- Establish and analyze the critical path. Suggest schedule optimization measures to the customer;
- Communicate budget and schedule tracking to the project team, monitor, analyze and communicate variances and propose corrective actions
- Control and account for all invoices and follow up on project approvals and payments
- Establish and analyze cost and schedule trends. Evaluate and propose solutions to minimize the impact of variances
- Prepare the project cash flow curve and update it periodically
- Validate supplier, subcontractor and contractor schedules according to contractual requirements and project objectives
- Produce monthly project cost control and progress reports
- Ensure regular communication with project managers, project teams and customers
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's degree in Project Management
- Over 10 years' experience in the role of PCO (preferably in construction) and similar functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft MS Office Suite and MS Project;
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- Acute sense of organization, analysis, initiative, versatility, rigor and autonomy
- Ability to analyze data and use various software programs;
- Rigor and consistency in his interventions
- Interpersonal skills and team spirit
