    Description
    Summary

    We are looking for a personal assistant who can carry on some household management responsibilities to assist in the day-to-day running of a busy household. This could mean one day you are booking appointments and travel, shopping, and the next day you could be organizing closets, meeting with designers and wrapping presents. This is the ideal position for someone who likes to be on-the-go and jump in and help without being asked.

    Main Responsibilities

    Coordination
    • Make travel, hotel and restaurant arrangements.
    • Coordinate services and maintain open communication with external service providers and other staff at three private properties.
    • Act as a point of contact for home suppliers and contractors as needed.
    • Coordinate the regular pick-up and delivery of personal items e.g. dry-cleaning.
    • Research and acquire items as requested e.g. personal shopping.
    • Assuring the residence is always kept clean and tidy and assisting other household staff with their tasks when necessary and when traveling to other the other residences.
    • Work with designers, as needed.
    • Plan, organize and coordinate personal functions such as social events and family gatherings, etc.
    Management
    • Assess the performance of the contractors and household staff, make recommendations and present solutions.
    • Travel to the different properties to make sure everything is up to standard (Eastern Township and Florida).
    • Address all issues that might arise at the different properties.
    Household duties
    • Shop for birthday and Christmas gifts.
    • Grocery shopping and various errands, as needed.
    • Property equipment and installations maintenance and maintenance coordination e.g. pool, geothermal.
    • Occasional hands-on assistance with private and social events.
    • Occasional dogs sitting.


    Requirements
    • Minimum of five (5) years similar work experience.
    • French and English speaking.
    • Must have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Flexibility to work outside of strict job description parameters.
    • Have a keen sense of initiative.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to work under minimal direction.
    • Ability to handle multiple requests (multi-task), prioritize, and respond quickly and efficiently.
    • Proactive to take the initiative to ask, learn, and make things happen.
    • Flexibility in the working hours and prepared to work outside of normal business hours according to the employer's needs.
    • Excellent communication and time management skills.
    • Flexibility to handle last-minute changes.
    • Energetic with a strong work ethic.
    • Alert, curious, responsive and resourceful.
    • Always keep a professional demeanor and stay discreet.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and a vehicle.
    • Must like dogs.
    Additional Information
    • Full-time Monday to Friday (flexibility required).
    • Salary: 100,000$, subject to annual review.
